PROJECT: PILATES FOR EVERYONE
Pilates mat-based class (55 minutes)
Pilates is the perfect foundation to enhance any other workout that you do. In Pilates for Everyone, you will discover how to access the deepest muscles of the body, improve flexibility and balance, and learn how to incorporate it all into any other form of exercise that you have in your routine. Whether its cycling, HIIT, boot camp, yoga, or strength training, Pilates deepens the mind/body awareness allowing you to perform other modalities safely and correctly. Traditionally Pilates is set in a restorative atmosphere however, in Pilates for Everyone you will be training in an open studio, amongst fellow community members, in a class that is less about feeling Zen and more about challenging yourself and building deep strength. The intensity of the class gradually builds throughout the workout, leaving you feeling taller, stronger, aligned and accomplished.
We always recommend a personal assessment before taking any class. However, if that is not possible, we ask that all participants at least come physically healthy, as this is still a class and major modifications cannot be made.
